Automatically plug in listing price, sales tax, shipping, and APR to calculate an OTD price and financing detail for any given listing
Forecasted vehicle value
See a prediction for what a vehicle will be worth in 6 months to 5 years based on expected mileage and market trends.
Dealer incentives on listings
See if the dealer has: a time-sensitive deal occurring for this vehicle will perform service for free or at a discount
Listings from Facebook Marketplace
Add Facebook as a source for private listings
Wholesale valuations (MMR / vAuto / AccuTrade / Blackbook)
Is it possible to list auction data (mmr, vAuto, etc) and/or accutrade data? I feel this is the biggest mystery when consumers are purchasing cars and look to trade.
Track my vehicles (value, warranty, recalls, etc)
Today you can easily input a VIN or license plate to see a profile for a vehicle (even if it’s off-market), but you may want to keep tabs on an off-market vehicle in case it goes back on the market or the price prediction changes significantly.
Dealer info / sales performance
See how any given dealer is performing based on how many vehicles they sell versus their inventory counts, as well as a comparison to local competitors.
Search by specific model generation
Examples: Mk7 Golf R E46 M3 G05 X5 997 911
Support for pre-purchase inspection providers
Allow you to schedule vehicle inspections from Visor
Add Support for Motorcycle Shopping
I love the format of the platform and how data driven it was. However, I was sad to see that there was no support for motorcycle brands/listings.

6Committed and queued
Deal Check v2 / crowdsourced price transparency
Allow users to specify what they paid for a particular listing. I’m envisioning something analogous to “Levels.fyi” for car sales.
Mark specific dealerships as known bad actors
There are several well known dealerships that create misleading vehicle postings for the purpose of engagement (e.g. having people come in for a bait listing). Marking a listing to warn users of observed poor behavior trends related to that dealer combined with the current feature to hide vehicles might help narrow searches to more meaningful results
.5 Year or Generation Selection
Occasionally, cars change generations or significant characteristics mid year. Examples I can think of include the 2005.5 Audi A4/S4 (VIN ends in 400000 and above) and the 2022.5 Volvo XC60 Recharge (fourth letter of VIN is H instead of B).
AND/OR Options Selection
This would be useful when desired option(s) are available both as part of a package and as standalone, when options change names from year to year, and when there are multiple option choices with the same name (I’m assuming these represent options for other years/generations).
Demo filter
Feature would allow users to quickly search for new vehicles that have between 1,000-10,000 miles on them. ( will help people find “Demo units”
All listings drop down selection
When we change dropdown option for example “Newest” to “Closest” and if we are middle of browsing the vehicles and then change the dropdown the vehicle’s are not getting refreshed from top list rather it stays where we did search from previous selection from dowsn down

Saving edits to existing search
How do you update the search settings for an existing saved search. If I do a Save and give it the same name, it actually creates a new search with the same name and no way to quickly identify which search was just saved. Could there be an Update button that simply wrote the current search parameters to the active saved search?
Days Listed for Doesn't Match
I have a bunch of vehicles on the Hides page. Each vehicle has a note “Listed x days ago”. If you open the page for one of those hidden vehicles, the “Listed x days ago” in the summary at the top is not the same or even close.
Listed pricing is off
The listed prices are way off, killing the usability of the site. Filter: F-150, New, 2025. Probably 80 trucks listed with incorrect prices. Might want some safety if (listprice < .80*msrp) { listprice = “UNK”
VIN substring search
Currently looking at the ‘26 Prelude and seeing that a lot of the dealer listings are simply wrong in terms of the color option. The “two-tone white” variant is frequently listed as “white” or “unknown”. The model code and VIN is actually unique for this variant, so searching for any VIN starting with “JHMBF1D7” would be accurate 100% of the time. I realize this is a niche request and don’t know how frequently it’d be useful, but it also seems like it might be easy to implement.
How to return to main page?
When I get an email that you’ve responded to one of my feedbacks, I click on it which opens your site to the Feedback/Roadmap/Changelog page (visor.featurebase.app). When I’m done there, how do I return to the main page (vison.vin) where the Saved and Favorites link is available? I don’t see any way to do that without editing the URL or using a personal saved link to that page.
Tacoma filtering issues
I’ve been searching for a 6ft bed Tacoma but the search is having major issues filtering out the shorter bed options. I’ve only been searching the trims which have “long bed”options listed but get roughly 85% short bed listings. Not sure if the “long bed” filter is set for a full size truck bed or not, but I’ve run into this issue on other search sites as well.

Multi-vehicle searches (minivans under $30k, etc)
Sometimes you don’t have a specific make model in mind, but instead a body type (“minivan”) or fuel type (“Hybrid”) Instead of clicking around to set the filters you want, instead just type “2020-2022 red Porsche 911s”

Even just a web wrapper app at first, that has the ability to remember logins. UI doesn’t need much adaptation from the mobile web version. Would make it easier to browse casually on the go :)
