The calm before the winter storm 🌬️
This week, we’ll admit - we’ve mostly been putting on some lighter touches. Now, don’t go thinking we’re just phoning it in… the rest of our time has been focused on leveling up our systems to keep up with demand and preparing for the weeks to come. That being said, every week we’ll continue to improve your quality of life, no matter what else we’re working on.
Deal Check (still Beta)
It’s been awesome to see Deal Check being used this week. After some great feedback, we’ve made a ton of progress on Deal Check’s overall accuracy, speed, and reliability. That being said, there’s still a lot of work to do! Here’s how we’re thinking about prioritizing improvements in the next few weeks:
Continue improving accuracy, speed, and reliability
Make it so that uploading a deal sheet for a listing that doesn’t match the one you’re on takes you to the correct one
Create a database of sales taxes and fees to validate against
Recommendations for trade-in valuation
Create a splash page and an additional page to manage all of your deal sheets
In-Filter Search
When you have a very particular specification in mind, it can be frustrating to search through all of the available interior/exterior colors or options packages to find the one you’re looking for.
Now, instead of hunting for “Silver Sky Metallic” in the list of colors on the filter page, you can simply click the 🔍 icon next to the header, and start typing. We hope this starts to save you a lot of time in searching for your dream ride.
Fixes and improvements
Created a new error page! We hope you never have to see it, but if you do, at least you’ll get to see a fun photo of our dogs 🐶
Improved handling of instances where a listing has no price info yet.
You may have seen a blue bar racing across the top of the screen when loading a page on Visor. We think this makes you more confident that something is going on while you’re waiting - so we’re now showing it when you traverse nearly every page across the site.
