Many of you over the past few weeks have been asking to see an estimate of what it would cost to ship the vehicle you want from the dealer to your driveway. This week, we’re delivering with the help of our friends at RunBuggy.

On any listing, you can now enter a city to generate an estimate for and we’ll generate two quotes: one for an open trailer (no covering over the vehicles), and one for an enclosed trailer (covered protection). You can even see a preview of what the route might look like! When you click on links to book shipping, we’ll send you to RunBuggy’s website. Visor does not earn any commission from referrals (we just like their service!).

We hope this helps in your decision making processes. In the future, we’d like to create a simplified breakdown of all of the costs associated with purchasing a vehicle, from list price, to fees, to shipping.

Other improvements and fixes

• If you log in to Visor via email, you’ll now be asked to enter a six digit “one-time password” instead of click on a magic link. We think this will be a lot more reliable.

• Made it so that clicking on a listing does not reset your sorting.

• Fixed an issue where used and certified vehicles were not being filtered properly.

• Resolved issues where clicking on a range in the price/mileage chart would not yield as many vehicles as expected.

• Fixed the email login input to be more visible on mobile browsers.
