Filter by options
No car shopping website out there does a great job at allowing you to filter for certain option packages (eg. Large Battery Pack, Bowers and Wilkins, Air Ride, etc). Options filtering can be great for identifying opportunities (imagine seeing two similar listings for the same price, but one has a $10k option on it)

Would also love to search and filter by partial VIN to find feature. For example I know all 2022 XC90s with the extended range batteries have vins that start with YV4H (the H representing extended range), so I would like to be able to search and filter on YV4H* or add it to filter

Hey Lance, thanks for the feedback! Craig also has wanted this, but we didn’t know if anyone else was so inclined. We are planning to make this a robust feature in the coming week or two (ie selecting specific options as another filter), but for the time being, you’ll get to use an exclusive little hack ;)
Go to this URL, and filter as you usually would. We won’t show any real indication on the site other than the “VINs matching YV4H*,” but you can fiddle with this using the
vin_match=YV4Hpart of the URL.https://www.visor.vin/search/Volvo/XC90/filters?year=2022&vin_match=YV4H
Let me know if you have any trouble using this or have further thoughts on how you want this to work.

This is awesome! Thank you!
I realize that maybe not everyone would appreciate it but it would be cool to give users a bit of a no code gui if/then logic on features. if “XC90 T8” and VIN contains “YV4H* and color not “BLUE”.
It would also be cool get a LLM trained on the data so we can use prompts, but I that is lower priority and get that it is costly, but maybe a future premium feature.

Here’s what we’re thinking with options filtering - essentially another filter where we list out the equipment that either was standard or optionally installed. Is this what you meant by “no code gui/if then logic on features?” If not, really curious on what would feel most ergonomic for you.
Btw - I don’t know why you’d think we’d work on natural language prompting. Definitely not on our roadmap…
