In order to have the Save button activated, you must end the note with a Space char. A minor inconvenience since clicking anywhere outside the edit box will also save the text.
Hey Barry - we have a minimum character amount set in order to save a note. Notes must be at least 5 characters long.

Interesting and confirmed. That explains some other things. I was typing “long” into the note box if the truck was a long bed and then clicking outside the edit box because Save was not active. My note remained in the edit box but I didn’t realize it wasn’t saved and I closed the window to get back to the table view. I did this for a bunch of trucks in succession not realizing that the note was not saved.
Given that there is a character limit, three suggestions come to mind:
Clicking outside the edit box when there are less than 5 chars could clear the edit box so people don’t think it is saved
Add a description of this limit to the i bubble popup in the edit box
Or simply lower the char limit to 1

As an aside to this, the need to notate the bed length of the Off Road Tacos is because the Trim Version of every Off Road truck that I’ve seen (dozens) is listed as “TRD Off Road 4x4 Double Cab Long Bed” (6’ bed) when over 50% of them are actually regular bed (5’). I had to open the dealer’s page to try to decipher from their info what the bed length actually was.

This is really insightful Barry, thank you! I will lower the character threshold for notes. As for the trim version accuracy, this is something we are working really hard on right now. We’re hoping to share some pretty dramatic improvements in the coming weeks.
