At Visor, we’re not shy about the fact that the filters page is one of our most unique experiences. Being able to see the whole market like this makes honing in on the vehicle you want that much easier. In the past few months of hearing your feedback and using Visor for ourselves, we quickly came up with a looooong wishlist for filters. This week, we’re happy to report that wishlist is now significantly shorter.

Better focus on filters with lots of options

We didn’t like how filters with a ton of options expanded in the previous version, so we came up with a new way of focusing on “heavy” filters. Not only are you able to scroll more easily in this new layout, but we think it’s a lot more intuitive to search!

Multi-select to save time (and clicks)

We’ve heard you - sometimes when you have a list of colors you want to filter on, it can be tedious to click on one, wait, then click on the next, wait…

Now, when you’re focused on a filter that can be expanded, you can simply click on all of the options you want, then click on the big blue button on the bottom to save. We hope this makes searching that much faster.

More mobile-friendly

We’re keenly aware that a lot of search traffic on Visor happens on phones! That’s why in this new design, we wanted to make it really easy to expand and filter on the attributes you need, instead of scrolling endlessly past an insane number of filters.

Other fixes and improvements

• Separated the GMC Yukon from the GMC Yukon XL. Thanks, Michael!

• Fixed a bug where clicking on a listing after zooming in on the map would reset the list view.

• Added a monthly subscription option for Visor Plus. Thank you for your feedback on our pricing!

What’s next

• We know, we know… we’ve been talking big game about market alerts for a while and still haven’t delivered. Fret not, we are working on it! Stay tuned.

• You can expect a few tweaks to the pricing section of the listing view. We have some ideas we’re 🧑‍🍳ing on.

• We’re about to unlock access to a pretty unique set of vehicle characteristic data. Needless to say, we have some ideas…
