Filter on MSRP and view recently sold listings

The weather’s getting warmer, and things are heating up at Visor. This week, we’re bringing two new Visor Plus features that will help you go even deeper with your research on the market.

Filter on MSRP

MSRP is one of those things that varies significantly by manufacturer. Some OEMs offer very minimal customization to their vehicles, while others give you every option under the sun. The new “Total MSRP” filter will allow you to see which vehicles have the most or least valuable customization at a glance. One of our favorite use cases has been to dial up the MSRP (ie see the vehicles with the most valuable options), and dial down the list price to see what kind of bargain deals are just waiting to be picked up.

These numbers are an estimation and while highly reliable, they should be verified against the vehicle's window sticker for complete accuracy.

View recently sold listings

Last week, we introduced Advanced Controls, which provides you with an even more powerful look at the current and past state of the market. This week, we’re extending the capability of this feature by allowing you to view recently sold listings.

If you’re a Plus user, all you have to do to access this is open up Advanced Controls, select “Sold Listings,” and then click “View Listings!” This will give you a look at where and for how much vehicles have been selling. We hope this provides an additional layer of value in your research process.

Other fixes and improvements

  • We were doing quite a bit of maintenance on our servers this week, so apologies to all those who may have seen a crash screen or experienced degraded performance on the site this week. All of this is setup for exciting things to come!

  • Made Visor Mobile more compatible with larger font size settings on iOS.

  • Created a “Hidden Listings” page in account settings for those of you who want to see your hidden listings.

  • Deal Check is going under a renovation, so it will be temporarily unavailable. Stay tuned!
