In our last email, we asked you about broader areas of interest that you’d like to see more attention paid to in Visor. Well, the results are in! Over the coming weeks, transparency will be a key theme of our updates, starting with a small, but significant step forward: Fees & Addons.

New pricing tab: Fees & Addons

When it comes to fees and addons, dealers are all over the map (literally and figuratively). We’ve seen all of the following situations with listings, and more…

• $5K+ of dealer addons (as seen in the above example)

• Priced low compared to the market and have no addons, but have a high doc fee (looking at you, Florida dealers), which brings the vehicle back into average market placement

• Good market placement, no addons, and low fees (Goldilocks!)

Starting today, on some listings you’ll get to see a preview of what your deal sheet could look like from a given dealer before even visiting their site. Don’t want to deal with a dealer that has an insane list of addons? Sayonara. For some fees (especially the doc fee), we’ll even give you a sense of what can be expected versus what that dealer is charging.

• Verify fees and addons you see on Visor and add those that are missing

• Filter for dealers with certified transparent pricing

• See and sort prices with all fees and/or addons included
