At long last, the wait is over. We promised email alerts months ago, and have been working ever since to bring them to your inboxes. It turns out, sending email is pretty hard! We spent a lot of time optimizing our template to work with as many email providers as possible.

How to turn on email alerts

Starting today, we’ll send you separate emails for updates to your favorite listings and new listings for your saved searches as long as you have their respective notification toggles turned on in your (brand new) account settings.

These toggles are automatically on for new users, but for those of you who joined before 1/29/2025, we didn’t want to start suddenly bombarding your email - so please opt-in if you want to start receiving these emails!

Exclude Mode ⊖

We’ve been hearing from quite a few of you lately that you’d like a way to specify filters by options you don’t want. As usual, we’ve been wanting this too! So we finally broke down and set to work making this feature as simple to use as possible.

Now, when you click “See More” on a filter, you’ll see a new button in the top right of the pop-up dialog called “Exclude Mode!” This is a simple toggle that you can turn on when you want to start excluding options instead of including them. After applying a filter with exclusions, you can easily turn off Exclude Mode by clicking the button that appears in the top right of the filter.

Report a listing

We know it can be frustrating to click into a listing, only to find out that it’s already been sold, or that the listing info that you saw on Visor (or even the dealer site) isn’t accurate. Now, you can easily report a listing based on a few negative experiences you might have had.

This is the tip of the tip of the iceberg of the effort we’re starting to encourage more crowdsourced information on Visor. Stay tuned!

A fresh design for saved searches and favorites 🎨

With the introduction of email alerts, we thought it was time for a new coat of paint on saved searches and favorites. We hope these updates make it even easier to check in on the searches and listings you’re obsessing over.

Other fixes and improvements

• Added a country switcher to the bottom of our homepage to allow switching between the US and Canada market.

• Fixed an issue where fresh listings on saved searches weren’t showing up on the map.

• Added a "🆕” emoji to listings that have been posted since you last viewed in your saved searches.

• Fixed behavior for going back from a listing via keyboard shortcut on desktop and swipe back on mobile.

• Added a “Closest” sort option to the list view.

What’s next

• It’s about time to do some spring cleaning. We want to shape up our data so that it’s as clean and uniform as possible (looking at you, specific colors and installed options). We also want to greatly reduce the number of times you click on a listing and the vehicle is already sold.
