Hello again, and happy spooky month! We don’t exactly have a regular cadence for these changelogs yet - we’re just trying to ship new features as fast as possible. You may have already noticed the following updates if you’ve searched in the past few days, but here’s the roundup.
We’ve completely overhauled the map to make it easier for you to fly through the market:
Map popups will now show across desktop and mobile when you click on a marker.
No more cluster size indicators, just smaller blue dots that have a smaller radius so you see more of the market at once.
We greatly improved map data fetching performance - panning around should feel much snappier.
When more than 1,000 listings are available for a given make model/filters/map area, an indicator will show in the top left for "1,000 of XXXX vehicles." This indicator will disappear when you zoom in enough to see less than 1,000 listings.
When no vehicles are available for a given make model/filters/map area, an indicator will show in the top left for "No vehicles found."
When map data is loading after panning on the map, a loader will show in the top left of the map.
Prices are now showing in $XXK again, not the full price. This should let you see more listings at once.

We’ve also completely overhauled search so that you can see results faster, with a better taxonomy, and more accurate inventory counts.
There were quite a few models where it seemed like you needed a PhD in vehicle history to know which one to click (looking at you, Jeep Wrangler). We meticulously combed through the catalog of models and simplified our taxonomy. It should now feel much more intuitive to search.
Thanks to all of you who reported strange numbers in the “XX for sale” number on the right of each search result, we also spent time making these inventory counts much more accurate.
Last but certainly not least, you should feel that search is MUCH faster ⚡
Check out the new reliability info in the filters view! We are now monitoring NHTSA recalls and owner complaints so that you can see which year of the model you’re interested in is the most reliable.
Resolved an issue where clicking inside the price / miles chart would show more listings than intended.
That’s all for now, but we’ll be back in a few days with more updates. (hint: See listings in a list view alongside the map)
